Acceptable Use Policy
Version 1.0.0 · Effective 2026-06-12
Version 1.0.0 — Effective June 12, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses the Mother suite — Storyboard (storyyy.app), Midnight, and SlideKit (the "Service"), operated by Ross Frederick, an individual doing business as "Mother". It is part of our Terms of Service.
Mother is a creative tool. Almost everything you'd make with a camera, a paintbrush, or an editor is fine here. The rules below describe what is not.
1. Zero tolerance: child sexual abuse material
You may not create, upload, request, or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors — real, generated, stylized, or fictional. This is the one absolute line.
Violations result in immediate, permanent termination of the account, and we report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement as the law requires.
2. No intellectual property infringement
Do not upload or generate content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights. You must have the rights to the material you bring into the Service. Copyright complaints are handled under our DMCA & Copyright Policy, and we terminate repeat infringers.
3. No deceptive synthetic media of real people
Do not use the Service to create media depicting a real, identifiable person without their consent where a reasonable viewer could be deceived into believing it is authentic. This includes, without limitation:
- Election and political manipulation — fake depictions of candidates or officials intended to mislead voters.
- Impersonation — fake audio, video, or imagery of a real person used to defraud, harass, defame, or impersonate them.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery of any real person.
Clearly labeled parody, satire, and consented likeness work (for example, productions where the depicted person has authorized it) are not deception — the line is intent and likelihood to deceive or harm.
4. No unlawful content or use
Do not use the Service to create, store, or distribute content that is illegal where you or your audience are located, or to plan, facilitate, or commit any unlawful act — including harassment, credible threats of violence, and incitement.
5. No malware or fraud
Do not use the Service to create or distribute malware, or to conduct phishing, scams, social-engineering attacks, or any other fraudulent scheme.
6. No circumventing safety systems
Do not attempt to bypass, jailbreak, or defeat the safety systems, content filters, or usage policies of the Service or of the AI providers it dispatches to. Generations refused by a provider's safety system must not be re-attempted through deliberate evasion techniques.
7. No platform abuse
Do not abuse the platform itself, including:
- Credit fraud — creating multiple accounts to farm free starter credits, exploiting billing or ledger bugs, or manipulating credit accounting in any way.
- Rate-gaming — circumventing rate limits, queue priorities, or fair-use safeguards through automation or multiple accounts.
- Key and account sharing — sharing your account, reselling access, or using the Service's platform-managed provider keys outside the Service.
- Probing, scanning, or disrupting the Service's infrastructure, or accessing other users' data without authorization.
8. Enforcement
We may warn, suspend, or terminate any account at our discretion for violations of this AUP, with the response scaled to the severity of the violation. Zero-tolerance violations (Section 1) result in immediate permanent termination. We may also remove content, disable sharing of specific items, withhold credits obtained through fraud, and report violations to law enforcement where appropriate.
To report a violation, email support@motherrr.app.
Changes
We may update this AUP as the Service and the law evolve; material changes are announced as described in the Terms of Service.
