DMCA & Copyright Policy

Version 1.0.0 · Effective 2026-06-12

Version 1.0.0 — Effective June 12, 2026

Mother (Ross Frederick, an individual doing business as "Mother") respects copyright and expects users of Storyboard (storyyy.app), Midnight, and SlideKit (the "Service") to do the same. This page explains how to report copyright infringement on the Service and what happens next.

Send all copyright notices to: support@motherrr.app (subject line: "DMCA Notice").

1. How to send an infringement notice

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send us a written notice that includes all six of the following (these track Section 512(c)(3) of the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act):

  1. Your signature — a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or, if multiple works are covered by one notice, a representative list).
  3. Identification of the infringing material and information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it — a URL or share link to the specific page or asset is best.
  4. Your contact information — name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A good-faith statement — that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. An accuracy statement under penalty of perjury — that the information in the notice is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Incomplete notices may not be actionable; we will tell you what's missing where we can.

A warning about misrepresentation: under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing — or that material was removed by mistake — can be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.

2. What we do with a valid notice

When we receive a complete, valid notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the identified material, notify the user who posted it, and provide them a copy of the notice (which may include your contact information, as the statute contemplates).

3. Counter-notice procedure

If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a written counter-notice to support@motherrr.app (subject line: "DMCA Counter-Notice") that includes:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the removed material and the location where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is located (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which Mother may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or their agent.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If they do not notify us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity, we may restore the removed material within 10 to 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice.

4. Repeat infringers

We maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We track infringement notices against accounts; accumulating valid, uncontested notices will result in account termination.

5. Scope

This process covers copyright complaints. For trademark, right-of-publicity, or other complaints — including deceptive synthetic-media reports under our Acceptable Use Policy — email support@motherrr.app with a description of the issue and we will route it appropriately.
